We guarantee that our products are manufactured to the highest standards and are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of purchase. If you encounter any issues with your HIT product, please contact us immediately, and we will do our utmost to resolve the matter.
3-Month Manufacturing Warranty
HIT provides a 3-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering any defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
What the Warranty Covers:
- Defective components or parts resulting from manufacturing flaws.
- Faults in assembly or workmanship that impair the product's performance.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches or dents).
- Damage caused by failure to follow the product's user manual or care instructions.
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or distributors.
How to Claim the Warranty
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Notify our customer service team via email at info@hitrecognition.co.uk within the warranty period.
- Provide Proof of Purchase: Submit proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation) and a detailed description of the defect, along with photographs or videos, if applicable.
- Return Authorization: If the claim is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the defective product to us.
Warranty Resolution Options:
Upon inspection and verification of the defect, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the defective product at no cost to you, or
- Replace the defective product with a new or refurbished product of equal value, or
- Provide a refund for the defective product if repair or replacement is not possible.
HIT will cover shipping costs for returning and replacing defective products under warranty.
Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty does not extend beyond the original 3-month period, even if a replacement is issued.
Your Consumer Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protects you if your product is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described.
