The HIT app may request the following user data to enhance safety, personalisation, and research value:

  1. Location Data

    • Used to display your activity route and impact locations on a map.

    • Allows users to visualise where and when impact events occur to better understand activity and risk environments.

  2. Emergency Contact GPS (Optional Feature)

    • If enabled, HIT can send your live GPS coordinates to your nominated emergency contact in the event of a crash detection or significant impact.

    • This feature is user-controlled and optional, enhancing safety response time in high-risk environments.

  3. Gender & Date of Birth

    • Used to create anonymous profile groupings that improve our impact threshold modelling.
